Could I play Quake 4 and Crysis on Windows 7 PCs with top of the line video and sound cards?

I tried on my computer and it won't let me even install.Could I play Quake 4 and Crysis on Windows 7 PCs with top of the line video and sound cards?
What do you mean by top of the line video card? If you mean the actual current top of the line (ATI Radeon 5870 or 5970, or Nvidia GeForce 480) then absolutely you can play it. If you mean top-of-the-line from 6 years ago, probably not.
