I've played all of those games on Windows 7. They all work. Also as a mild hint, if it ever asks you for an OS just put in Windows Vista until they have a Windows 7 option.Can you play new and "old" games like Crysis, Far Cry, Fallout 3 etc. on Windows 7?
Yes. Yes, you can.
Even if there is a problem booting your game, right-click the shortcut, click Compatibility and choose Windows XP Service pack 3, or Windows Vista Service Pack 2. So there will be no difficulties really if you do this.
